helpful and safe Jul 03, 2010 This stool works great for getting on and off the potty. I like that the top is skid proof and the base is wide to allow for stability.
Short Jun 28, 2010 I purchased this with the matching potty seat for the toilet. I love the skid resistance top and bottom as well as how light weight the product is. My 21 month old picks it up to turn the light on and off in the bathroom and then he takes it back to the toilet. I do wish the item was a little taller or at least had the option of being taller. We started integrating the potty training process with my son at 16 months, he is now 21 months and still too short to sit on the toilet (even with the stool). The toilet in his bathroom is also a little shorter then a "normal toilet" (approx 16.5"). Since he prefers to use the toilet as opposed to the potty chair (BabyBjorn) he started out with we hoped this would be an easy way for him to sit on the seat by himself. Unfortunately he is too short, however he is able to step onto the stool when he is finished. The height of the stool is 6", it would have been perfect at a height of 8". We are just going to have to wait until he grows into it.
Safe, Sturdy and Cartoon-Free May 14, 2010 This step stool is perfect for my four-year-olds---they carry it from the bathroom to their bedroom so they can look out the window. Once it's on the floor, it doesn't budge, which is a necessity during the occasional "me first" shoving match. Also, I appreciate the clean look of this step stool---the fact that it's not covered in cartoon figures is a plus for any parent.

Injured my son May 05, 2010 This stool can flip completely over if your child tips it and they can land squarely in the middle of the overturned stool. This has happened to my son more than once but this time he got a huge deep scrape from on e of the legs. I am going to complain to the manufacturer as well but am hoping to save other children from injury!
Love it Apr 30, 2010 Have had this stool for about a year now, since my son was 2. Has been successfully used for getting on the potty, reaching the sink to wash hands, and I actually also use it in the shower so he can sit on it and I can wash my hair :). Use it on spanish tile, bathroom rug, and tile in shower, and on all surfaces this stool proves to be non-skid. It's very light-weight, which I like, but I also think it contributes to the fact that this stool may, in some circumstances, tip. I have had very few instances of this, and it was always a bit of a tip, nothing big. Just make sure your child doesn't goof around on it, or use it as a toy. Better than any "dollar store" stool I've seen!
