Adult High Quality Pencils Sep 04, 2010 Very expensive pencils- about 5 times as expensive as a regular pencil- more for adults than children. The erasure on the end erases better and quicker than any pencil that I have used in my entire life.
When compared to an average pencil like Sanford American USA HB #2- it is about 5 times better. High quality paint and lightweight wood. The pencil is made of top of the line cedar wood.

Poor quality Jun 23, 2010 The quality of the Ticonderoga pencil is very poor since they moved production to Mexico. My last and final box of Ticonderoga pencils lasted all of two days. The lead was not fastened inside the wood and was broken every 1/4" inch or so. As a result the lead breaks and falls out when you attempt to sharpen or use the pencil. Unacceptable quality and their packaging makes it look like it is made in the USA--deceptive.

PENCILS Mar 26, 2010 I bought these pencils for my kiddos, very durable and high quality materials are put into this pencil which now makes it my number one pencil of choice. recommended for kids for it has sort of an antimicrobial something that also makes it the worlds safest pencil against viral diseases. highly recommended

Erase...Erase..*rip* "aww" Mar 25, 2010 Does anyone ever feel like that? Well, the reason I love these pencils is because of there beautiful erasers. These are the best pencils I have ever used!
Eraser:
This is my favorite part, the erasers are soft high quality and work like magic. They do not rip the paper and last for a while. The only problem is that the metal band that holds them onto the pencil is sometimes a bit loose so they often fall off.
Paint:
This is why I rated these pencils only four stars, the paint comes off really easily and is slippery so these pencils are not great for long essays or exam, stick to the mechanical pencils. Or get grips...
Lead:
The lead lays down smoothly and can, to some extent, be used for shading. As with all leads there are sometimes incidents when the pencil falls off the table and the lead breaks so the pencil is gone, but still...
So over all if you do not want to use a mechanical pencil then this pencil (preferably with a grip) is the best you can get.
