After trying a few after market cartridges and having nothing but problems I went with the original. Works like a charm!

Reasonable ink at slightly below manufacturer's recommended price. Prints well. I was happy to get this ink instead of the remanufactured cartridges, because of potential clogging problems.

HP Printer ink refills came in manufacturer's box and are quite satisfactory. The shipping was quick and the price was below all the others I looked into.

While I wish there were viable alternatives to buying HP ink, Amazon has great prices and a well developed merchandising system. I have learned that buying cut-rate replacement cartridges is almost always a disappointment and does not save money. The requirement to buy replacement ink only from the manufacture seems to be restraint of trade and price fixing but apparently no one wants to take it on legally. With replacement HP ink running about $5200/gallon something needs to be done.
In the meantime, buy your HP ink from Amazon when on sale...it may only cost you $3600/gallon!

I'm more than satisfied w/ new ink cartridge. Now I can once again make use of a printer, instead of letting it just collect DUST!
