 NOt the best Angelina Jolie movie Aug 29, 2010
I was not as impressed by this movie than I have been on other Angelina Jolie movies. I might have been happier had I watched it first on Netflix and then not bought it.

Not sure why I am reviewing this as movies are so subjective and no one is right or wrong but boy, was this movie over the top. Way too far fetched for me. Way to un-realistic for my tastes...My fiance' and I both agreed at the same time...lets turn it off.

An accounting manager, who finds his life extemely boring and without any purpose, encounters a gang of assassins who recruited him to execute a series of assassinations ending with the mission of assassinating Kross, their ultimate nemesis. The training he receives is so good and hard that makes him a great assassin in no time, and when he finally meets Kross he realizes the ultimate truth about his destiny and purpose!
The story is great with a wonderful twist in the end!
The direction is breath taking.

Perfect for its purpose. Aug 06, 2010
Saw this movie at the theatre and buying a copy for home ownership.
Awesome action, wonderful CGI, and the plot ties all the elements together perfectly.
For those seeking more depth or character development, go watch one of those 3 hour long flicks filled with emotion, diatribe, and values.
If you want a good dose of an underdog coming into his own this is one good film to see.
The office worker turned assassin storyline probably appeals to some of the people who are cubicle dwellers who do their tedious jobs just to put food on the table. Also it takes one to have the soul of an eternal adolescent to appreciate it as well.
If you are a fan of being an 'adult' and thereby putting 'age limits' on certain practices and feeling that people should 'grow up' then this movie may not be something you want to watch repeatedly.
But if like me, you are bored with having to adhere to stuffy and inefficient rules and standards of the modern world, then this movie is a perfect escape.
I also recommend Hitman as a companion movie.

Tons of action and suspense.
Crazy special effects and great plot twists.
