What a rip off! Aug 11, 2008
By Karen Pearce Data Inc
"Suzi Pearce"
I ordered this at the same time I ordered the Wii Fit. I should have waited so I knew exactly what I was buying. I love my Wii Fit but this package is a rip off. There are only 1 pair of socks (that I can buy for 1.50 anywhere. The rechargable battery pack can be bought seperately for 18.99. The silicone sleeve for the board isn't really needed, especially of you are wearing skid proof socks. The little carry case for the board is cute, but I don't plan on toting it around very often. I thought the mat was something exclusive for the wii but it is just a plain old exercise mat.

What a Rip-Off!!!!! Nov 28, 2008
By Susan Headley
"About.com Coins Guide"
This 5-in-one Wii Fit bundle was a complete rip-off! The carrying case is a pathetic, cheap, thin little thing that wouldn't protect the board at all if you carried it inside (assuming the seams didn't tear from the weight of the board.)
The battery pack doesn't work when I stand on the board, it is disconnecting from my weight (which is well within the 300 pounds the balance board is rated for.)
There was only 1 pair of socks in the package (not the 3 I paid for) but they don't fit my women's size-11 feet anyway because they're made for kids I guess. They barely pull up over my heels.
The exercise mat isn't bad, it's a decent thickness and size but I could have bought it separately for $8 and saved $43 because the cover for the board isn't worth much, either. It doesn't stay in place because the little plug-in bobs don't line up properly with the holes on the bottom of the board.
All in all, a terrible purchase that I am seriously considering returning (what a hassle!)
Bottom Line: SAVE YOUR MONEY!

Questionable marketing by Dream Gear Feb 12, 2009
By Dana M. H. Daniels Purchased the 5 in 1 Fitness Bundle for my wife for Xmas. The bundle itself, in theory, was very appropriate for the Wii Fit. The battery and charger, from the get go, wouldn't hold a charge. Contact with DreamGear yielded no results other than the usual dog and pony show of apologies and excuses with the problem surrounding the rechargeable totally ignored and unresolved. The company Director did not have the courtesy to return calls to discuss the matter. Out of all this, it was learned from DreamGear, that the use of the battery pack would result in the voiding of the warranty, confirmed later by direct contact by Nintendo. If buying this DreamGear product , or even thinking of it, save your money. The product is shabby and the customer service is even shabbier.

3 Pairs of socks my eye! Aug 04, 2008
By Jane Sutherland I love my Wii Fit...thought the bundle would be a great deal...but my one complaint is that Amazon stated 3 pairs of socks....the box said 3 pairs of socks included...only received 1 pair!
Hmmmm false advertisement maybe??!! I want my other 2 pairs of socks...!
The Wii people need to cough up the other 2 pairs of socks and stop advertising on the product packing that they're included.
**** UPDATE 8/4/08 **** Hey thanks C. Christiansen...I wrote the company and they will be sending me the extra socks too! I had to fax them my receipt from Amazon and they said once they become available...4wks...they'll mail them to me.
Thanks again for the info C. Christiansen...very helpful!!

NOT a ripoff! Dec 31, 2008
By Vongalude I can't believe people think this was a ripoff. I just got it, with plans to send it back if the reviews are true, and I think it's great. The jelli cover did not rip, or even seem like it would rip, when I stretched it over the balance board. The carrying bag is pretty cool and very convenient for the trip I have planned next week. The socks are whatever, and the green yoga mat is great. I have a yoga mat, but I don't want to put my balance board on it, so having the second one for the wii works perfectly. And when need the battery charger. The charger and cover alone (which were the items we really wanted the most) would have been the same price as the whole bundle was. I don't get why people think this was a ripoff.
