Wii Wired Sensor Bar Ok Oct 19, 2008
By D. Roche price is unbeatable but its the performance. The original Wii sensor bar worked alot better and had better range. This one is good but not as good as the original. Thats what you get when your pets chew through the first one.

Good replacement for original bar Nov 23, 2008
By Noodle 19-2000 This is as close to the original bar as you can get without buying a refurbished one straight from Nintendo (and at a higher price). I had to replace it twice after my cat discovered how fun it is to chew the cord. The only real complaint I have about it is that I wish they could thicken the cord on it. It seems like a lot of people have pets or vaccuum cleaners eat it. I also have to put the sensor bar on a stand and on top of a book so it can sense my remote correctly, but I had the same problem with the original one too so I think half of that is a problem with the controller itself.

perfect May 27, 2009
By L. Campbell I destroyed my original wii sensor because I tried to splice on an extension cord. When that didn't work, I bought an inTech wireless unit. I suffered with it for over a year. I finally got smart and purchased this unit along with a 15' extension cord. I now enjoy smooth gameplay for the first time. Looks just like the factory. No setup required.

Just like the original Jul 30, 2009

Like many folks, I needed to get a replacement Sensor Bar after the one that came with my Wii got chewed up.
I waffled between getting this one and the Wii Wireless Sensor Bar, but some of the bad reviews for that one, specifically how people have had trouble with the wireless bar sensing their Wii remote, and the batteries required as well as a separate on/off switch, made me decide on this one here.
This Sensor Bar is almost an exact duplicate of the original Wii Sensor Bar. It does come with a small plastic stand, basically a small u-shaped piece of plastic turned on its side. I'm not sure why this was even included, as it serves no purpose and I can think of is maybe it was necessary to alter the "official" Wii design somewhat for copyright considerations.
Other than that, this Sensor Bar works great! A decently-priced replacement for those who lose their original Sensor Bar!
